  • 1 Oct 1904 - Awarded Good Conduct and Long Service Medal
  • 24 Sep 1906 - Retired as a Colour Sergeant following 21 years of service
  • Served in Gibraltar, Eygpt and South Africa (twice) and Awarded King's South Africa Medal and Clasps
  • We have not been able to find the details of George's WW1 mobilisation or his Officer Commission records

Circumstances of Death

George died of Acute cholecystitis, an inflammation of the gallbladder, at either the No 2, No 3 or No 16 Canadian Stationary Hospitals in Le Treport
