The Fallen of WW1 New

Last Updated: Monday, 22 November 2021 20:01

A database from the Transcriptions of Memorials, Plaque and Rolls of Honour containing the names of the men and women of the SWFHS area who fell in WW1. By no means complete the database now contains 1188 records following the latest addition of 33 men who make up the Box to Conway panel of the Stratford on Avon War Memorial. Are research is now pausing until January 2022 and will resume with the entries after Conway.

Gaps in the data mean that we have yet to find that info. Click the last name for more details of the soldier. At the moment the database is only searchable by one field so we suggest either selecting All in the number of records for display then clicking the column header Last and then scroll down or search by last name.

Do you have photographs, documents or information about any of the men and women of South Warwickshire?, if you do we would be happy to received and publish them. Use our upload form by clicking here.
