Circumstances of Death

Harry was killed in action during the Battle of Lone Pine on 30th August 1915, unfortunately the 19th Battalion war diary does not carry an account of the Battalions actions on that day and so we have attached a link to the Wikipedia article for the wider Battle of Lone Pine. 19th Battalion was part of the 1st Infantry Brigade. Harry had been in theatre for only 9 days before he was killed.
