Circumstances of Death

Frederick was evactuated to the 69th Field Ambulance on 19 Dec 1917 suffering from Pyrexia (high fever) and then to the 24th Casualty Clearing Station at Istrana, Italy where he died of pneumonia.

Frederick was originally buried in another, yet to be established, place before his remains were exhumed and moved to Giavera in 1919.
