Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)
Harry died of influenza (Spanish Flu) at No 47 Casualty Clearing Station, Lozinghem. His service record contains the following Medical Report date 25 Dec 1918: "This man died of Influenza, complicated by Broncho-pneumonia and Epistaxis (nose bleeds). Field operations, fatigue, privation or exposure would undoubtedly constitute predisposing causes. |
