Thomas is listed as dying of wounds on 20th June 1915 at one of the numerous Military Hospitals or Casualty Clearing Stations near St. Omer. The 2nd Battalion war diary does not give us any clues as to when Thomas was wounded and therefore we are not able to give any further detail.
