Circumstances of Death
Although the War Graves Commission record Thomas as being in 5th Battalion Royal Warwickshire, both of his register of effects records state that he was in the 1st Support Company of the 2nd/6th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire. Thomas died of pnuemonia on 4 Dec 1914 at the 1st Southern General Hospital, Birmingham. We are still researching the personal life of Thomas and have yet to find any links to Leek Wootton. |
