3-12-1914 - St. Yves: Headquarters shelled in the morning. Sniping rather less than usual. Quiet night. 1 killed [Frederick], 2 wounded. Lieut Irvine went sick. 1 section under Capt Freeman paraded in Nieppe to meet the King.
