Joseph is listed as dying of wounds on 7 Oct 1914. The war diary shows that 2nd Bn KRRC were in the lines at Troyon from 25 Sep 1914 to 15 Oct 1914 with no fighting other than shell and sniper fire. There are no individual entries for the days 1st to 7th October and therefore we have not been able to identify on which day Joseph was wounded.
