Previous Regiments/Units

Pvt 990 Royal Warwickshire Regiment. In 1911 he was serving in India. He transferred to the Machine Gun Corps in 1916.

Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)

On the day he died Harry's Machine Gun Company moved from Le-Coq-le-Paille to Dickebusch Camp. After reaching Dickebusch and during the late afternoon and evening they were subject to considerable aerial bombardments which led to 21 deaths, one of whom was Harry.
