Tilloy - 9th [May 1917]: Hostile artillery very active last night but quietened down at dawn. A direct hit was obtained on Saddle Trench causing casualties to a Lewis Gun team. Front line trenches were intermittently shelled during afternoon but no casualties. Work on general improvement of trenches carried out. Casualties for the day 16 other ranks

Tilloy - 10th [May 1917]: Battalion relieved tonight by the London Scottish and on relief proceed to trenches in the Wancourt Line becoming right Battalion Reserve. Battalion HQ at N.16.b.1.8. Casualties nil.

Wancourt Line - 11th to 13th [May 1917]: Remained in Wancourt Line. Casualties for this period were 20 other ranks.
