Circumstances of Death
|
Albert caught Spinal Meningitis at Swanage Training Camp on 4 May 1917 and was hospitalised. As a result of the Meningitis he became deaf and on 21 Aug 1917 he was discharged as medically unfit and issued Silver Badge Number 231923. However the illness did not contribute to his death as Albert died on 15 Jun 1918 when he was accidentally drowned whilst bathing in the Oxford Canal at Easenhall. |
