Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)

The battalion were in the front lines at Lindenhoek, Kemmel when they were ordered to attack enemy lines nearby. The attack was successful and the battalion were later relieved by the Wiltshire Regiment. The attack came at the cost of 181 casualties
