Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)           

Thomas is listed as dying of his wounds on 24 Oct 1918. It is not known when he was wounded, and the war diary lists casualties being incurred in the four days prior to his death. At this time the Battalion were in Brigade Support in billets at Oreq. Frederick's pension card shows he received a gun shot wound to the thigh.
