Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)
It is not yet known when, where or how Ernest was wounded. He would have been taken to one of the Casualty Clearing Stations at Lijssenthoek where he is buried. Prior to his death the 10th Battalion were at Weston Camp from the 20th to 30th April 1917 and then at Montreal Camp and nearby trenches until the 11th May 1917.Personal & Family History |
