Circumstances of Death
Harold is listed as being killed in action on 11 Sep 1917. Unfortunately the section of the Brigade War Diary covering the period July 1917 to December 1917 is missing from the record, this is the period during which the Third Battle of Ypres took place and perhaps it was destroyed during the battle. We cannot find any newspaper reports about the events of 11 Sep 1917 and therefore we are unable to give any details of how Harold was killed. |
