Trenches NW of Albert 27 June 1918: Enemy registered on Support line with heavy and light T.M. [Trench Mortars]. Patrolling by day by A Coy discovered several gaps in enemy wire opposite Hairpin. B & D Coys still rehearsing attack just east of Warloy. Trenches NW of Albert 28 June 1918: Some shelling by enemy of front and support trenches. Our heavies fired on enemy front trenches and wire. Trenches NW of Albert 29 June 1918: Quiet day. |
