Circumstances of Death

Thomas is listed as being killed in action on 16 Oct 1915. Unfortunately the 9th Battalion war diary pages were copied in such a way that every other page has been copied on the reverse [blank] side including the entries for 15th, 16th & 17th October 1915. All that can be said is that they were in trenches at Poperinge in the days preceeding and following the 15th to 17th. We are unable to find any other sources of information and so cannot give any details about the circumstances that led to the death of Thomas.
