Front Line - Haussy – 20.10.18: The Battalion took part in the attack to capture the high ground East of the River Selle. Zero at 0200 hrs. Final objective reached at 0600 hrs. No of prisoners 35, casualties slight. Leave: 1 OR proceeded on leave Front Line - 21.10.18: Battn consolidated the positions gained. Intermittent shelling – chiefly with gas. Leave: 1 OR proceeded on leave. Front Line - 22.10.18: Very quiet. E.A. very active during morning. Slight shelling in afternoon Leave: 1 OR proceeded on leave |
