Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)

Leonard arrived in France on 19 Mar 1917 and was severely gassed shortly thereafter. On 22 May 1917 he was discharged as being medically unfit to serve due to the gassing. He died of Tuberculosis on 5 Mar 1919.
