Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)

Harold is listed as dying of wounds on 6 Aug 1916 and he was buried in Mont Huron Military Cemetery which was used for the burial of the fallen by the numerous Military Hospitals in the Le Treport area.  Harold's 10th Battalion spent all of July in the Albert area which is come 100+ kms away from Le Treport. The war diary does not not mention Harold by name and we cannot be certain of exactly when and where he was wounded. Click here for more details about the Casualty Evacuation Chain which may help with an educated guess.
