  • We are grateful for the assistance of the RAMC in the Great War website
  • There is some confusion over Capt. Brownson's full name with some places listing it as Roger Dawson Duffield Brownson not the
R.D.D.D. Brownson per the school memorial plaque. His birth record gives name as Roger D D D Brownson but his Baptism record
gives Roger Dawson Brownson. However Medical Registers give the full version of the name.
