Thomas died of wounds received in action on 27 June 1916. The war diary consisted of  two very brief entries which are transcribed below.

  • Thomas was a shareholder in  the Great Western Railway
  • We are unable to find Thomas in the 1911 Census. The London Gazette said he was Commissioned from the Officer Training Corps
    and so may well have been at University
