Near Sarry - Fri 31.5.1918: Heavily shelled, Battn compelled to withdraw about 11.00am under heavy barrage to position overlooking Ville-en-Tardenois-Chambrecy Road. 7.00pm a further withdrawal of about 800 yards to a more favourable position necessary. END
