Circumstances of Death
| John is listed as being killed in action on 11th August 1916 and was buried at Becourt. So far we have not been able to find the 35th Heavy Battery war diary nor have we identified which Brigade, Division or Corps they were attached to at that time. Therefore we are unable to give any details about the circumstances leading to John's death.
