Circumstances of Death

William was wounded in France sometime before 25 Jul 1915 at which time he was invalided home. He was discharged from the army on the 18 Jan 1916 and awarded the Silver Badge No 100901 issued on 13 Dec 1916 because of wounds received.

William's death certificate states that he died on 6 Feb 1917 from Asthma at 9 Upper Well Street, Coventry and gives his occupation as Army Pensioner.
