Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)

The war diary is not very helpful as all it tells us is that when Thomas was killed the 194th Coy were in the lines on working parties somewhere at Mic Mac Camp, Dikkebus, Belgium and that they were under constant shell fire. Thomas is specifically named in the diary as being killed.
