John is listed as being killed in action on 15 June 1918. However the war diary does not contain an entry for either the 13th, 14th or 15th June nor is there any report on operations and so we cannot comment on why John was killed. The war diary does show that they were in the lines at Tannay where he is buried and another man from the battalion was also buried on that day. |
