Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)

On the day he was killed the battalion were relieved in the trenches at Voormezeele and moved to Canada Huts at Dickibusch. No mention is made of casualties. His Register of Effects card states that he was killed at Dickibusch and it is assumed, but not confirmed, that he was killed by shelling.
