Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)

The military information regarding George is very sketchy but others have found that he was stationed in Londonderry and Belfast from 1914 to 1918 and never served abroad. A pension card states that he died of disease and his Register of Effects states he died at a "military hospital" which we presume was in Belfast.
