Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)           

On 3rd April 1918 the battalion were sent to by lorry to Saisseval. On the 4th they took up defensive positions in the front lines at or near Pacaut where they remained until the 12th Apr, the day Percy is listed as missing/killed in action. On the 12th patrols were sent out but they never returned and it is believed that Percy was a member of one of those patrols.
