Other Information

The Coventry Herald carries reports from the Coventry Board of Guardians stating that they will be adding Samuel to their Great War Roll of Honour. Samuel is described as a Boarded Out boy and it seems that at some stage he was in the care of the local authority, perhaps around the same time his father remarried. This seems to be confirmed by his residence in 1911.
