Circumstances of Death

Major Bryan is listed as being killed in action on 11th August 1917.

11 Aug 1917: The 490th Field Coy war diary reveals that they were working on track laying near Dominion Camp, Ypres when Major Bryan was killed and 8 others wounded during a bombing raid by an enemy aircraft.

12 Aug 1917: The Coy held a Church Parade and full funeral for Major Bryan
