Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)
The war diary records that the battalion were in the front lines between Fortuin and Hill 37 and were "shelled all day" which caused 60 casualties including Harry. The diary also records the forward movement of German troops on Gravenstafel Ridge although they did not attack allied lines. ![]() |
