- Horace was registered at birth as Horace Henry C Wiblin
- In February 1897 George Phipps of Dry Sandford was ordered to pay 1s 6d per week to Rose Ann Wiblin of Cumnor until the child was 16.
- In August 1897 George Phipps of Dry Sandford was charged with being 15s in arrears of a Bastardy Order in favour of Rose Ann Wiblin
- In 1902 Horace's mother Rose Annie Wiblin married Charles Edward Woolloff at Hinton Waldrist
