  • Arthur was compulsory transferred to the Labour Corps from the Royal Field Artillery on 30 Jun 1916 at Bordon Camp, Salisbury

Circumstances of Death

Arthur died on 24 Nov 1918 of Influenza, Pneumonia & Cardiac Failure at the Fargo Military Hospital, Durrington, Wilts. He had been admitted to the hospital on 17 Nov 1918.

  • However Arthur's name was registered as Arthur Albert Hyatt BADGER and on 16 May 1896 Sarah married Albert Arthur Hyatt
  • Sarah died in 1896 aged 38
  • Arthur's next of kin was his sister Mary Elizabeth Hyatt who lived opposite the Vicarage in Napton
