Geoffrey died of Osteomyelitis of the Iliac Bone and Pyaemic arthritis (Sepsis) of the shoulder on 24th September 1916 at the Council Schools Military Hospital, Aylesbury.
A newspaper report states that Geoffrey suffered an injury during training which led to his death. |
