Circumstances of Death

Clive died of pneumonia at the 3rd Southern General Hospital, Oxford on 19th December 1916 after falling ill with nephritis while serving in France. The following newspaper clippings describe Clive's relationship with Leamington Spa.

Clive's father, John, served in the Royal Warwickshire Reserves having enlisted in Warwick from 2 Oct 1914 to 10 Apr 1920 as a Sergeant Major aged 48 in 1914
