Circumstances of Death

Frank was discharged from the Army due to sickness on 17 Jun 1919, having enlisted in 1911 aged 19. On 20th June 1920 he died of Tuberculosis of the Spine and a Spoas Abscess at the Hospital of St. Cross in Rugby. We have not yet established where Frank was buried following his death.

Frank had previously been wounded on 16th April 1915 and treated at the Meerut Casualty Clearing Station which at that time was based at Aire-sur-la-Lys. We do not know if the wounds he incurred contributed to his cause of death.
