Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)

On 30th August the 26 Brigade RFA marched to Bailleul where they relieved an Australian Brigade and 116th Battery relieved the 25th Australian Battery. It was during this relief that Oliver was killed him being the 1 other rank recorded as being killed, presumably after coming under fire from enemy lines.
