Circumstances of Death

According to his death certificate George died on 3rd January 1919 of the following causes at the Military Hospital, Studley Royal, Ripon:-

  • Infection of the Urinary Organs and Gall Bladder
  • Operation to remove Gall Bladder
  • Nephrostomy (Urinary Drainage) of Right Kidney
  • Shock from the operation
