Circumstances of Death

Sid died of Tubercular Disease of the Lungs on 2nd November 1920 at the Hatton Ayslum and Hospital. At some time in 1916 Sid was evacuted to the Lord Derby War Hospital in Warrington in 1916 Lancs suffering from gas poisoning and shell shock. He was discharged from the Army with a Silver War Badge on 12 Feb 1918 because of sickness and was later transferred to Hatton Ayslum where he died.
