Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)
William died of Heat Stroke whilst on duty at the 3rd British General Hospital in Basra. We don't know when he first went down with Heat Stroke.William had served at Gallipoli where he fell with a bout of Dysentery, in November 1915 he was invalided to Malta where he recovered and returned to his unit in April 1916.
