Circumstances of Death
| Charles is listed as being killed in action on 23 October 1916. Unfortunately the war diaries for the Salonika Campaign are not available online and there is precious little information about the 31st Brigade online and therefore we are unable to give any more information except for Solihull Life mentioning his dugout collapsing. |
