CWGC records (click) show that Thomas's remains were found in a grave at map reference 57C.S.17.d.5.6 and re-interred at Delville Wood Cemetery on, we think, 12 Nov 1920 (click). 57C.S.17.d.5.6 was a point in a field just to the south of Longueval and just outside the very southern end of Delville Wood, click here to create a map of the area.
