Circumstances of Death
| Thomas is listed as having died on 4th October 1916 at the 21st Casualty Clearing Station in La Neuville. We believe that he did not die of wounds as he is not named in the war diary with other men who were casualties of shelling etc. The war diary does show that a large number were in hospital with sickness on any given day leading up to his death. |
