Thomas is listed as dying of wounds on 8th November 1918 at one of the Casualty Clearing Stations at Caudry where one various dates in October 1918 the 21st, 3rd, 19th and 49th Casualty Clearing Stations were based or passed through behind the now rapid allied advance. We are not sure when Thomas was wounded and the the likely dates are 23rd October when the Battalion were near Caudry or on 6th, 7th or 8th November 1918. |
