Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)
The war diary for the 30th March 1918 states Albert "Held line. Situation remained the same as the night of the 29th. Enemy M.G, T.M and rifles very active"Sidney was in the front lines near Albert and was killed on the 30th March, presumably by the active gun and mortar fire.
