Circumstances of Death

Horace was called up on 15th May 1918 and was stationed at the HMS Victory VI training ship until 30 Sep 1918 when he transferred to another training establishment, HMS Pembroke, at Chatham, Kent.

Horace died of Double Pneumonia at the Royal Naval Hospital, Medway (Gillingham) on 26th October 1918
