Circumstances of Death

John is listed as being killed in action on 14th November 1916 although his War Graves Commission Grave Registration records the date as the 13th November. The war diaries for the Salonika Campaign are not available online and the official history of the 10th and 12th Battalions makes no mention of any actions on either date. The Battalion had moved to Agomah but we cannot provide any further details of the circumstances leading to John's death.
